1917
Beginning of the plantation:
It started with a groove of 1000 olive trees inherited from the ancestors. We planted olives on the same land that our ancestors planted in 1917, carrying on their legacy of nurturing through love, passion and hard work. The climate, geography and soil have shaped our Olive Oil's rich taste and quality over time. That’s what truly sets Edition apart from any other brand. From that time on, the love of the land, olive oil and agricultural life has been passed down for four generations.
1925
Our first harvest
We are known for our time-honored olive oil production process that has been perfected over generations. Our olives have gone through a natural process before being pressed. Our first harvest started when the olives turned green to ensure that they keep their higher antioxidants and extra-low acidity. They are harvested and pressed hours after harvesting for a better delicacy and taste.
1960
Enlarging The Plots
Our family-owned grove has been carefully tended for decades. Our trees are all grown from natural root stock, and are planted with love and care. During 35 years, we started understanding more the root system of the trees to produce more fine olives. We took care of their placement and soil drainage to ensure that they absorb their necessary nutrients of sun and water. As we observed the result of this process, which was extremely productive, we figured that our trees need plenty of space to grow. From that idea, we started growing and expanding our plantations and today, we hold 8000 fruitful olive trees. From then on, a more one of a kind, smooth, silky, flavorful olive oil was being produced.
1995
Pressed mechanically
With the development of the world, We figured it's a high time to blend modern skills with meticulous attention to detail. We started extracting our olive with the newest technique back then : the Cold pressing method. This technique consists of pressing olives on an average temperature of 24 °C to maintain all the wonderful taste and nutrients of the fruit.
2007
Truffles first experience
Truffles are a luxurious treat that can be enjoyed with anything! Buttery sauces, rich pasta dishes, crispy crostinis or straight out of the jar itself. We believed in the magic of the truffles and the benefits they got and we wanted to try combining them with our olive oil. For centuries, the French and the Italians have been known for their culinary expertise and innovation. That’s why, we started working with truffle experts and hunters from Perigord in France and Alba in Italy to ensure a super quality truffle oil if not the best.
2011
A local level of luxury
Since we are a family company that aims at spreading the world with a healthy and tasty lifestyle. We believed that everyone deserves to be healthier, and so, we did what we could to make it happen. The people in our area have gotten more hooked on the flavoring of truffles, as it has convinced them, it is worth every culinary use or lifestyle. And rather than buying one bottle upon their next visit, they would buy 2, 3 and so on.
This added more refinement and delicacy to their food and even improved their health, since truffles have many great benefits such as lowering cholesterol and fighting bacterial infections, just like olive oil which has multiple uses for skin, hair and food.
From there, the idea of Edition began to flourish for the first time.
